My professional credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering from The City College of New York and an MBA from the University of Connecticut. In addition, I am a Professional Engineer licensed in 7 states, including New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

I possess broad based technical and managerial experience in process design and energy delivery and am skilled at reviewing drawings and specifications for compliance to client requirements, codes, standards and budgets.

My career began at Crawford and Russell, an engineering and construction firm that designed process facilities including polymers, chlorine-caustic, pharmaceutical, and food plants. I later worked at Burns and Roe (bought by POWER Engineers) which specialized in power generation and design and modification of facilities including schools, city transportation, environmental conservation and DOE work. My last position was Vice President of Engineering which I held at Burns and Roe and for several years during the integration with POWER Engineers.

I developed a special expertise in defining and documenting Hazardous Locations to comply with NFPA codes. In addition to project work, I provided input to both company and society standards on the subject.
